TAXXI RIDE respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how TAXXI RIDE collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the TAXXI RIDE driver application or website and its associated services.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered through the TAXXI RIDE driver platform, including:

• Driver onboarding and eligibility verification
• Ride dispatch and navigation
• Earnings tracking and weekly payouts
• Driver level advancement (Core I, Level II, Level III, Gold IV)

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the app as a driver:

• Name, email address, phone number, and date of birth
• Profile photo
• Driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance documents
• Background check and DMV driving record results (via Checkr)
• Real-time GPS location while the driver app is active
• Trip history, earnings, ratings, and in-app messages
• Bank or debit card information for weekly payouts via Stripe

3. Location Information

We collect your precise GPS location in the foreground while the app is open and in the background while you are in Active or On-Trip status. This is required to match you with nearby riders.

You can go offline at any time to stop location collection. Background location is only active when you are available or on a trip — never when you are offline.

4. Background Checks

By applying to drive with TAXXI RIDE, you authorize us to obtain background check and DMV records through Checkr. Results are used solely to determine platform eligibility and are handled in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Verify your eligibility to drive on the platform
• Match you with rider requests in your area
• Calculate fares and process your weekly direct deposit (every      Tuesday)
• Track your driver level advancement
• Investigate safety incidents or complaints
• Comply with applicable federal and state TNC regulations

6. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as follows:

• Your rider — first name, photo, vehicle info, and rating during an      active trip only
• Stripe — to send your weekly earnings
• Checkr — to conduct background and driving record checks
• State transportation regulators — as required for TNC compliance in      each market we operate
• Law enforcement — only when legally required

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

Driver records, trip logs, and payment records are retained for a minimum of 7 years to meet insurance and regulatory requirements, even after account closure. Retention periods may vary by state.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• Update your profile and vehicle info anytime in Driver Settings
• Go offline at any time to stop location sharing
• Request a copy or deletion of your data (subject to legal retention      requirements)
